This is a perfect safari combination to visit two of the southern national parks in Tanzania. Mikumi National park has a great variety of animal-like the Big Five and the chance that you will encounter lions climbing up trees is greater here than in another park.
Rise early before dawn and venture to Mikumi from Zanzibar a full day of extraordinary wildlife viewing. Plan on being on the flight 6:30am in order to arrive at the gate in time for a full day of wildlife viewing. On arrival you will enjoy a hot lunch at the lodge and continue the adventure through the late afternoon and until the early evening when you will flight back to the Zanzibar.
