Overview

A 1Night/2Days Private Safari to Tarangire & Ngorongoro offers an action-packed, condensed Tanzanian safari, typically starting with a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, a full day game drive in Tarangire (elephants!), overnight near Karatu/Ngorongoro, followed by descending into the famous Ngorongoro Crater for abundant wildlife (Big Five potential) and a picnic lunch before flying back from Arusha, including park fees, lodging, meals, and private vehicle/guide for an immersive experience focusing on iconic Northern Circuit parks.

Additional Information

  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking
  • Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, comfortable clothes and hiking or tennis shoes.
  • Not recommended for travelers with back problems
  • The tour start at 5:30am but the pickup times will be between 4am and 5:30am
  • May be operated, under request by a multi-lingual guide (Spanish and Portuguese)
  • A moderate amount of walking is involved at both attractions.
  • Waiver will need to be signed attesting to good health conditions

 

 

Cancellation Policy

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • The tour start at 5:30am but the pickup times will be between 4am and 5:30am
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

What To Expect

Day 1:Zanzibar to Arusha

The day starts with the flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. A Jeep will take you to Tarangire and a full-day game drive. Once you are warmed up and a little tired to enjoy a feast, lunch will be arranged inside the park. After a long day at the park and other attractions in the area, in the evening all of you will depart to the Lodge that will be 1hr30minutes from the park for an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

The 2nd day will start with a morning breakfast and then we will depart to Ngorongoro Crater. After exploring the top attractions, we will have delicious picnic lunch and then will depart to Kilimanjaro Airport.
